The 2013 Ford Fusion has been redesigned for the new model year with a large interior, more efficient Hybrid option, and new turbocharged engine choices. It is available in either manual or automatic transmission and front- or all-wheel drive to suit any driver’s needs.
Auto critics and Ford drivers alike love the new styling of the 2013 Ford Fusion. The front fascia has more bends and curves, culminating in a hexagon grille with headlamps and foglamps. The rear shows off LED tailamps. The silky exterior isn’t lost when going inside however; the interior is sleek and functional. It’s amply comfortable for five adults, coming in just under what is considered a full-size sedan. Even with all the seats full, it has 16 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk.
It is available in four trim levels: the base S, SE, SE Hyrbid, and top-of-the-line Titanium. Even base models can have voice-activated SYNC with MyFord to keep the driver’s eyes and hands focused on driving. Hands-free phone calls, emergency assistance, and more are all displayed on the 4.2-inch information screen. Higher trim levels include keyless entry, SiriusXM Satellite radio, and more. The 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium features and upgraded Sony stereo system, rear deck spoiler, 18-inch aluminum wheels, push-button start, and a rear view camera.
The 2013 Ford Fusion is a Top Safety Pick again, earning the top score of “good” in all categories. Each trim is equipped with eight airbags, including dual front knee airbags not usually seen in the sedan segment. The Titanium trim offers a lane-departure warning system and lane-keeping system, plus active park assist for parallel parking. The 2013 Ford Fusion’s slim roof pillars make visibility, and therefore safety, excellent.
